Siren☆'s debut issue: Mira Riviera

MAKING WAVES

Mira has been known for her caretaker role in the ecosystem over the past several years. When disaster struck in 2020 she played a critical role in coordinating aid for sick sea creatures. Famously, her connection with Orcas has now taken the spotlight. She's risked captivity herself to work with properly vetted humans, bringing many Orcas out of the performance industry and back to her sea-habilitation program, where they can re-adjust to life down under.

We know and love her for these accomplishments, but what put her on our first ever cover is a new addition to her program. You may have heard some whispers in the tide, and it's true! The sea-habilitation sanctuary has expanded their space and extended their services to the hotties who've been caught in the undertow. This new expansion intertwines with the sanctuary's existing animal programs, designed to bring a beautiful healing experience to any being that needs to get back on their fins. She passionately believes that the bond between the girls and the gills is the most sacred in the sea, and has high hopes that a space for joined recovery between species will bring an abundance of growth and harmony to the ecosystem for many generations to come.
